Thought share the recipe on the hob right now. You could use a Slow Cooker, ideal and simple to prepare.
All my favourite three spices mild ones.
No chilli. Uses the three spices Cinnamon, Ground Coriander, Cumin.
I use Pork Shoulder steaks easy to find and easy to cook.
Borlotti Beans are a small brown plump bean. Italian used this in Soup or Ragu with Pork .
Could use Chickpeas could use Cannellini .
Or Butter Beans.
INGREDIENTS
Four Shoulder Steaks.
Onions, Fresh or Frozen.
Spices Cinnamon, Ground Coriander, Cumin.
One teaspoon of each.
Jar Passata.
Splash of Red Wine Vinegar .
Stock cube water.
Tins Cherry Tomatoes. Two of each
Tins Borlotti Beans two of each
Good to use Rosemary or use dried or Thyme.
Teaspoon be fine.
Pepper Salt Lemon Juice, Garlic Powder for basting marinade.
Teaspoon of each add to zip bag Pork Steaks close to shake and shimmy cover leave and to marinade.
METHOD
I would suggest add Pork Steaks to a Tin Foil tray Oven 200 degrees or fan equivalent .
Or use a roasting tin browns easier can spit and hot fat can be dangerous in a pan to seal.
In the Oven from marinade bag use a tongs lay two tin foil containers cook around a hour.
When removed cool down and into chunks dice.
To the stock pot along with add Onions, Spices Red Wine Vinegar season add Meat.
Cover with stock , Passata and add Beans, Cherry tomatoes. Herbs and cover.
Mix in and leave back of the hob or slow cooker around six hours.
Low heat long slow cook couple hours usually longer the better.
Done this before on a low heat as the Pork Shoulder is quite a fatty meat it does not over cook.
Becomes melting. Better next day can be frozen.
Enjoy.
