I haven't received my ESA today but I see a few people have had problems I called and she said I would be paid today but still nothing.

Hi and welcome sorry to hear you haven't been paid, hopefully the money will be in your account either overnight or tomorrow, if not I'm afraid all you can do is either wait or phone them back.Be extra nice to new members.

Thank you I'll let you know ?
-
Hello @Imhotep, and welcome to the community.
Did you receive your ESA in the end? -
No I didn't I'm so worried I called again and they have sent another email to benefits
-
Hi @Imhotep - sorry to hear you still haven’t been paid. It is good you are chasing it up though. I have had a similar experience with my Access to Work payments for my support staff. When I called (after 3 emails being ignored) they said that they are all working from home and on a reduced staff, hence the delays. It might be the same with your ESA payments. So I would advise being patient and do what you are doing: follow up but it should help to ease the anxiety that probably they are just working slow right now. Let us know if you get through or not.

Thank you just not coping with it how am I meant to survive? I have extreme anxiety and depression.
-
I understand @Imhotep - rest assured that we are here to talk and listen, and maybe able to point you in the direction of advice. Whilst we can’t directly do anything about your ESA, know that you have a community of people here to reach out to. I know anxiety and depression can feel crippling at times, but don’t stop reaching out - remember professionals like the Samaritians - are there too if you need someone to talk to immediately

Just had a lovely Irish lady phone me and apologised there was a cliche I'm in tears with relief.
-
@Imhotep that’s great news - really happy for you. Thanks for letting us know!
-
That's brilliant @Imhotep. I'm so glad it's been sorted for you!
-
Thank you still not in my account so just have to wait.
-
Hi @Imhotep. Did it arrive in your account in the end?
-
Yes sorry I thought I told you they couldn't understand why it happened just put it down to a cliche
-
I'm glad you got it sorted @Imhotep, it must have been worrying.
-
Yes it was thanks for being there.
