Hi,
I have been searching for information regarding PIP and the housing benefits, My Question is if one of my adult children moves back in who is working 24 hours a week will this effect my housing benefits? There is no information out there only if they are claiming universal credit.
Thanks in Advance

Hi @Snowyannie - Welcome to the community. It seems that as they would be classed as non-dependent as working, your Housing benefit may reduce, as they would be expected to contribute. However, as you mention PIP, if you receive the Daily Living component of this, you would be exempt such deductions.
There's some info here on Scope, & also some info from Shelter.
