Will I need another PIP assessment?

Because of covid 19 my face to face interview won’t take place , I have been receiving pip for 3 years and due for reassessment October 18th, I had a text massage to say they are extending my pip because of covid , now I did ring and was told it would be for 6 months which will take it to April 18th , how will I fair as I’m 65 on the 4th April will I need another assessment
