Pip ended will I be paid?

Hi everyone.
I have been recieving PIP high rate for 2 years now.
It was due to end in May.
I filled in all the forms and sent medical evidence in Feb 2020 and awaited a letter for an assesment.
Then covid 19 happened and I moved home.
I have had no contact at all and cant get through on the phone to change my contact details.
Does anyone know if my payments will have stopped in May and when and how will I be assessed.

    Hi Janie's
I know that when mine ended I still had I think it was half a payment the following month , not sure why or if everyone else had the same ,

If I were you I wouldn't delay anymore ring them (I'm sure someone will come along and give you the number) ,
But also I've heard that people have had there PIP extended another 6 months due to covid hopefully you are one of them so that gives you time to get your forms done

    Hi.
Thanks for the quick responce, I have tried contacting PIP but nobody is answering the phone.
All my forms are filled in and should have been recieved February.
I'm totally panicking as I need to change my address and telephone number incase they are trying to contact me for a phone assesment.
I did read that even if payments were coming to an end they had been extended due to covid so Im hoping this is the case.

Do you have a citizen advice by where you live as normally there is always a "benefits advisor" , and they are still running (obviously from home) I emailed them (the email address will be on there home page when you search for your nearest branch) and explain your situation and give them your telephone number ,
The benefits advisor will then ring you , I think they will give you the best way to go forward ,
Mine helped me so much , and if anything it will give you some peace of mind x

Your payments will end at the end date of your award unless you have been granted an extension, as for contacting the DWP to notify your change of address and phone number you will have to persist on the phone until you get answered even if you have to wait an hour or so it’s a free call make sure you have all your ID information to hand and new address and contact details. You will have to pass the security questions before any action is taken, have also your last address and old phone number just in case these are asked to verify who you are.

    Hi thanks.

How would I know if I had been granted an extension.did people recieve letters?
I have changed my address and telephone number with Universal credit.
Will this go to other departments as when I asked My job coach they said they weren't sure.

Hi The only way you can find out is to call them as they do not have your current address.

I am aware that anyone who has a reward ending and has not yet had an assessment due to covid are having award extended by 6 months. So hopefully as you returned the forms you will continue to be paid, but you need to be sure they have received your forms as if not your payments could end.

Tyr calling as soon as they open 8am I think as this is often quieter.

Did you not have your post re-directed or can you contact you old address to see if there is anything there for you

    Thanks for the replies everyone.
I didn't get my post redirected so it's something I will try and do tomorrow.
I will give them a ring first thing.
I will phone PIP and hope someone will pick up tomorrow nice and early..

Also I'm sure they did re ieve my forms as they were filled in by a lady who specialises in assessments and worked for citizens advice and she posted on my behalf.
