Quick UC question

A family member is on UC due to losing their job because of the corona virus. They were supposed to be paid today but weren't. I'm guessing because it is the weekend.

Should they have been paid on Friday? Or, will they be paid on Monday?

Thanks

Afternoon @66Mustang how are you today? I thought if the payment date was a Saturday then they should have been paid Friday, If they are not paid on Monday morning they need to contact UC and find out what the problem is.

Hi @66Mustang as woodbine has said they should be paid on the Friday. I suggest they check their online journal for any messages or check the payments section from the home page.

If there is nothing there then unfortunately they will have to wait till Monday to enquire

Hello @66Mustang. Did their statement show on their online account? Any payments due at a weekend on bank holiday are paid the working day beforehand, so they should have been paid Friday.
I hope they manage to get it sorted today (phone lines open at 8am).
