PIP assessment took longer than nearly 6 months

hi because of covid my assement for pip took a lot longer nearly 6 months and my decisin will take at least 6 weeks

    Hi @daz35 Welcome to the community, you are in the same situation as a lot of people, waiting times can be long at present even longer than yours has taken. 

    Once you get a text to say DWP have received your assessment report you can request a copy of this from DWP. This isn't the final decision but will give you some idea of the points awarded by the assessor and the DM normally goes with the assessment report unless it is contradicted by other evidence

    Welcome to the community @daz35! When did your assessment take place?

    A week after the assessment you can request a copy of the report. This will allow you to see what the assessor has said. Normally they will go with their recomendations.
