I am interesting in finding out how may wheelchair users have a wheelchair users group in their area. I am interested in setting one up as I feel a collective voice can achieve more that one person on there own.

Hi @littleacorn, I'm not aware of one in my area. What would you want to discuss in the groups? Sounds like it could be really useful..

Hi @littleacorn Welcome and that is a great idea, I suppose the main concern is making the group accessable as not all wheelchair users can go somewhere without assistance.
Im not too sure if my area has one but if it does I dont know abou it -
Things to discuss would be issues around wheelchair services, a mutual support group for issues raised by the members re access etc. I dont see any issues with wheelchair users bringing another person for support. I have also thought about offering it
at different times of the day so those who work can have an input. -
Yes good idea offering different times
Good luck hope you get it set up -
