Any you like, I just need to know which would stop and what she will be left with really? As I think just £25 per week isn't much for her.
    Thanku x

Hi @dannii - sorry if that wasn't too helpful for you. Unfortunately the cost of care homes varies depending on where your Mum lives. Anything from £500+ to £700+ per week, altho some info seems to be 3-4 years out of date. This is the best site I could find, which gives an idea of this year's costs: https://ukcareguide.co.uk/care-home-costs/
Just with you mentioning benefits, I thought you might be wondering which stopped, & which continued. Whilst some benefits continue such as the state pension, parts of some benefits will cease, e.g. the care component of PIP will stop, whilst the mobility part continues. However, as I'm hoping you read, the benefits that remain may be used to pay for the cost of being in a care home.
I don't know if care at home might be appropriate, but the site just mentioned here also gives a comparison as to this as an option.
If your Mum owns her home, then specialist advice should be sought if considering a care home.
Should you wish, you could also try searching for 'cost of a care home UK' on the internet. You may find out more. The above site does have annoying 'pop ups' but just click on the X to close these.
There's also some info here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-care-and-support-guide/care-services-equipment-and-care-homes/care-homes/   which gives a similar average £600 per week estimate.
If you are considering some care homes, I presume you could also enquire directly as to their fees. :)

@dannii - I'll leave you in Steve's safe hands. I'm unsure as to why he feels it's better to chat on a one to one basis, as often discussions are looked at by other members who later join, & this helps them.... Btw I can just click on Steve's name too, & see what you've posted on his wall. :)
