Hi @laurenrose2003 - & welcome to the community. As far as PIP goes, you don't necessarily get awarded this purely on any diagnosis, rather how this may impact on activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, preparing a simple meal, etc, &/your mobility. Please have a look at the following link, which describes the activities that would be considered, & any points that may be awarded. See: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/Scores-for-PIP-Descriptors-2020.pdfScope also has some links about PIP: https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/benefits/personal-independence-payment/I hope this may help you decide if you might try & claim PIP. If you need advice in any other areas, please do say, as Steve has mentioned.

@laurenrose2003 Welcome to the community great to have you in board, I see you have been given some advice about claiming PIP.
If there is anything else we can help you with just ask or have a look round the site and feel free to join in any discussion -
hello, is there a way of getting a PIP form to print off as I need the form quite quickly and don't feel comfortable over phone
-
would autism be part of pip as well?
-
Hi @laurenrose2003 - the fastest way to start a claim is by phone (& someone else can ring on your behalf, so long as you're there as you may have to briefly confirm that you're OK with them helping you), however you can also do this by post. See this link for the address to write to: https://www.gov.uk/pip/how-to-claimAs you will see, you need to write to:Personal Independence Payment New Claims
