PIP provisional decision?

I have received my pip provisional decision the other day awarding me standered living award now what happens if this just have to wait for a finial decision to be made or dose this mean I've finally got what I should at the beginning as am confused with it all?

Hi @kurt2920 Welcome to the community great to have you on board
Was the provisional decision from a tribunal ? If so then it is entirely as said this is a provisional decision but as such is a recommendation and you and the DWP can reject this.
It isnt likely that they will but if so it just means it will go to a hearing rather than be paper based . If they dont reject then yes you will get a final decision awarding you
