The squirrel holding onto the fence is a proper dude! It looks like he owns the place @RAwarrior

@RAwarrior, these photos are amazing! What camera do you use? I've got a Canon EOS M5 which I love. Must be so lovely to be able to feed the squirrels, such interesting animals!

Thank you for your lovely comments and you’re very welcome ?
Coots are often found in ponds and lakes. They are part of the same family as Moorhens and I have posted photos of some Moorhens that I also feed.
It really makes a difference being able to interact with wildlife and to observe them. It helps with my wellbeing.

Coots are quite noisy and the babies make a squeaking sound so you know there are baby Coots nearby?
The parents pick up a few pieces of the duck and swan food I give them in their mouth and feed it to the babies. I have seen them swimming back and fourth to a nest with food in their beak to give to the parent on the nest and the babies?

I actually feed the squirrel holding on to the fence by hand and she is really friendly. She is waiting for me to give her a hazelnut?Yes she does think she owns the place along with the other  squirrel with the short tail who was rolling around who spends a lot of time chasing the other squirrels?

I took all the photos with my iPhone. I do have a camera but I find it easier to use my phone as the shutter speed on my camera is slower than on my phone. As you know squirrels move around very quickly so if I use my camera I don’t always manage to take a decent picture. I have taken lots of pictures with my camera but I find it easier to use my phone. ?

    Aww!

@CMM made a thread on photography the other day, @RAwarrior, so you might like to pop over and share your experiences! I'm sure they could give you some tips if you'd like. Phone cameras are so good now though. Other than mine, which is smashed to pieces :#

Many thanks for your lovely comments. I replied to your comments by tagging @Tori_Scope by mistake I had been replying to @Tori_Scope?
I need to pay more attention to who has posted a reply. However, as you know I have been communicating with several members of the Scope Online Team recently but I need to pay more attention ?

As above I use my iPhone.

I love feeding squirrels and they are one of my favourite animals. The ones I feed regularly know me and are like a little family.?

Many thanks for letting me know about the photography thread and I will look at it?

I also don’t feel safe in carrying my camera if I am on my own as an iPhone is a bit more discreet. As people can see I am disabled I only really use my camera if I am with someone else. The camera on my iPhone is so much easier to use and I agree that they have really improved.?

    Great stuff @RAwarrior

Fair enough, I'm sure that other users have some phone camera tips as well :)

So so lovely @RAwarrior! I too use my iPhone a lot to take photos. It's lighter and easier to whip out and get the shot!  :D

    Thank you so much?
I was sitting down feeding the squirrels when lots of Magpies arrived and I feed them monkey nuts which they break open with their beak. Once I had started feeding them, the one in photo just sat in the branch right above my head waiting for me to feed him/her. I was surprised as they don’t normally get that close.?

The squirrel holding on to the fence is one that I feed regularly and she is very cheeky? She takes the hazelnuts from my hand and she always poses like that when she is waiting for me to feed her?

    It's not quite a squirrel @Chloe_Scope, but here's a goat I met in Greece:
