i have been waiting for a reply from pip for 7 weeks (new claim) is this normal thank you

Hi yes it is completely normal, I waited 5 months (around 20 weeks) for my telephone assessment after applying for the first time so you may be in for a bit of a wait yet.

A claim can potentially take several months, sometimes longer.

Total time I waited was 23 weeks.

Hi there I filled out my form in feb and only recently had my phone assessment now waiting for my answer .

Hi!

I was nervous waiting, applied 27th March, they recieved my form May 1st and I just had my appointment time come through today for next week, so 20 weeks in total from first ringing!
