just been told over the phone I’ll be receiving a back dated payment from 2/4/23 to 1/8/24 of £3,198.87 after deducting what I owe them which includes 2 payments of LCWRA paid in January & February 2024 & same overpayments from 2021 shortly but by may calculations it should be before deductions should be £6,283.57 I only owe then £695.54 which is the overpayment plus same of my advance which I’m also paying back that with the lcwra with that it £1,475.66 they are taking off but that still doesn’t work out right I’m 50 years old I get standard allowance before deductions are made plus my house costs on top they also deduct spare room money of house so I pay like £60 a month out of my allowance to cover the rent please correct me if any of the amounts are wrong first fit note dated 1/4/23 last up til 31/12/23 assessment done on 13th dec was also on lcw no wait time here we go may payment 1 month at £354.28 then 10 months not including Jan or feb as was paid them £390.06 = £3,900.60 the from June 3 months @ £416.19 = £1,248.57 so if you add them all together before deductions =£5,503.47 with the deductions they are saying £1,475.66 = £4,027.79 including the lcwra they paid me Jan & feb which they will also need to pay back to me or deduct it from the amount they say I owe them

You should receive a letter on your journal which will tell you the exact payment dates and exactly what is owed. What they've taken for the money you owe and what will be paid into your bank. If you haven't received that yet then I'd advise you to wait for that.

If you disagree with that amount then put a message onto your journal under the payment section and tell them you disagree with that amount.

received letter via journal today 2/9 saying they owe me backpay from 2rd dec 2023 to 1st August 2024 no mention of when I first hand in fit notes at all just the amount they would be paying into my bank account again no date for that remember I was on low before this so I’m missing 8/9 months of back dated money & they haven’t said anything about debt being taken out of it yet do I now write in journal about the missing months or wait til it’s paid into account

I wouldn't expect the letter to mention anything about fit note dates because they don't usually include those details.

Put a message onto your journal under the payment section and request the MR. Tell them the date you reported the changes and the date you provided the first fit note for those changes. The fit notes must have been continuous, without any gaps until DWP made that decision, when ever that was.

that isn’t what I meant I’ve been putting in fitnote since 4th April 2023 dated from the 1st April 2023 - 31 December 2023 my assessment was on the 13th December 2023 but they have but after having a MR then tribunal that I won they have only backdated the lcwra from the 2rd December 2023 & they have paid the back payment from that date what haven’t they don’t it from April 2023 was already on lcw hope like makes it clearer

sorry to be a pain but can someone til me how long will it be for dwp to look at my back date please yet they said it’s started from December 2023 which I have had backdated but my first fit note was put in the 4th April 2023 dated from the 1st April 2023 my assessment period is from the 2rd -1st have had to asks them about the start date on the 4th of September 2024 & haven’t heard anything as of yet this is really confusing me why they only done it from December as like I’ve said before I was already on lcw when I have put a message in my journal I got a sh**y reply from one of they then I explained why I asked & was told he has asked for a decision maker to look at it again that is all I’ve been told it will be 6 weeks on the 16th October it so frustrating

It means it's be sent to a decision maker to make their decision. You will need to wait now. Once a decision is made you'll receive a letter on your journal.
