    I’m currently at the car dealership as I need some oil put in my car and couldn’t find any in Halfords so they told me to come down and they are topping it up for free and giving the car a health check :smiley:

    This Motability scheme is a really really good service, I am very impressed by it

    My goal is to try & keep warm! Had my boiler serviced yesterday afternoon, & the plumber found a small gas leak. So no central heating/hot water. My cat is not amused, as she doesn't like the noise of my electric space heater, nor the feel of the fleece my lower half is wrapped up in.....she put one paw on it, & quickly decided she didn't like it, so keeps leaping across it so she can walk in front of my computer screen. Here's hoping I might get it sorted tomorrow. :(

    @chiarieds keep warm why do these things always happen in winter and not summer think they should only do services in summer so all ready and working for cold weather

    I kind of achieved my goal today, I've retained my top spot on the Xbox leader board this month, on 845 points so far including 30 from Tetris and 50 from Star Renegades.

    I'm a good gamer me!

    Plus I've been gaming for nearly 40 years.

    Also my teacher's accepted my entry to the Club competition, I finally got it right! Woo! Go me!

    My goal today is the same as it was yesterday . To wait in all day for a parcel . Really annoying, the shipping company received the parcel 02.15 am Tuesday, then processed it at 15.45 pm Tuesday and that’s when everything stopped! It was supposed to be next day delivery when I ordered it Monday evening. ?

    @leeCal it is annoying when that happens isn’t it. But I guess still much better than a decade ago when parcels could take days to arrive and you got no idea of when it was coming!

    I’m waiting for a parcel today. It is an advent calendar with 24 miniature sample bottles of whisky and cognac in it. :yum:

    My goal today, try and get Dad to order an Xbox Series X from Argos for Christmas.

    I've told him I'll pay half towards it plus the delivery.

    That is certainly a Very Important Parcel @66Mustang! I hope yours arrives soon @leeCal. I also have a parcel coming today, so I expect it'll be placed in our bin as a 'safe place' before they've even knocked.

    Update: they didn't knock (obviously), but they didn't put it in the bin at least. It went in our 'outhouse' (which doesn't exist), AKA by the front door.
