Hi @roberttaylor570, thanks for starting this game
Just to let you know I have moved the discussion to the coffee lounge as that is where we play fun games like this

This might not be appropriate so feel free to remove, but there is a fishing shop near me called Master Bait...0
-
I’ve visited an off-license called Planet of the Grapes.
Years ago I worked in a cow-themed music shop called Moozic. Still don’t quite understand the cow theme though!0 -
A relative once ran a pub and had a restaurant area called the slug and lettuce.1
-
There used to be an Indian style restaurant called Go Singh as in Go sing for your supper.0
-
@leeCal I know a pub called that. Can't be many around as with The Codfather.1
-
@roberttaylor570 it is probably a different place because the pub wasn’t called the slug and lettuce, only the restaurant part. I think I’ve seen a pub called that in a town somewhere in Suffolk. Not sure.0

Thank you @Ross_Scope. I'm not sure where I posted it. I just started a new discussion and it let me post. I agree the Coffee Lounge is the best place for it. Hope all is well with you.0

The life of Pie ? for a pie shop2

@leeCal The Slug and Lettuce is either within the bounds of The City of London or very close by.0
-
my relatives pub was far from London. It is an unusual name though I must admit. Funnily enough they did get a lot of professionals frequent the pub who worked in the City so perhaps it made its way there from outside London. These things occur.0
-
@leeCal I have completed a Google search for it and there are quite a few. It is now a chain of restaurants. One is indeed situated near the Museum of London which is in the city area and another at St. Mary Axe slap bang in the middle of the Square Mile. They began in Luton.1

I used to go to a Fish and Chip shop called The Laughing Halibut0

That's no problem, it went into the welcomes and introductions sectionroberttaylor570 said:Thank you @Ross_Scope. I'm not sure where I posted it. I just started a new discussion and it let me post. I agree the Coffee Lounge is the best place for it. Hope all is well with you.
