One of our other members, @Francis_theythem (I hope you don't mind me tagging you!), also lives with ME, so perhaps you two could connect?

Hello peeps. I'm Cathryn and I lost my job because of my disability. I now have PTSD. I ok but feel bitter.

olly59, Hi, sorry to hear that. Have you been discriminated against at work? You should take your employer and someone responsible to Employment Tribunal! No wonder you have PTSD on top. We have Disability Discriminations Act 1995, Equality Act to protect us. I think everyone should join a union, not company union but of your choice.
I was made redundant while I was becoming sick with depression and PTSD due to domestic abuse. My managers was also making it worse, so I took them to Tribunal. There was loopholes in DDA at the time. But later on they had to help me with lots of paperwork to get large compensation from elsewhere, made them work for me. -
Hi! As Tori says, I live with ME, and other illnesses associated with it, as well as dissociative disorder in part due to domestic abuse.I'm here if you want to talk about anything about it
