Microsoft Teams on a non-Windows PC?

Above.

I have a meeting possibly tomorrow lunch time online, they want me to use MS Teams but I can't because I don't have a Windows PC and I'm not allowed to download the app on Dad's Laptop.

I've sent an email requesting a Zoom meeting instead as that works on any platform including my phone.

Is there a way to use MS Teams on a Chrome OS Desktop though? I don't think so myself, I looked on the Web Store before tea and all I found was extensions to make it look nice.

If you can help please post.

    Hi @MrAllen1976

Yes, there is, i do this all the time.

If you have the meeting invite, you should just need to click it and Chrome will open Teams within the browser.

Alternatively, if you have a Microsoft office account, just go to office.com and log in there.

See this page for details on joining Teams meetings through your browser.

Hi @M - the above info seems most helpful. On a different note, I very reluctantly downloaded Zoom to my desktop with a Linux operating system a while ago. I couldn't join the meeting however until I tried using Zoom in my browser.
There are workarounds, & the above sounds good. Hope your meeting goes well too. :)
