    I think you will be surprised about what I purchased yesterday..........nothing :o
    I was looking for beer but there wasn't any, I saw lots of whisky but I am trying to be good at the moment and not drink spirits, and same with cheese, trying to eat more healthy
    I really enjoyed it though :smiley:

    The town we are in (Bakewell) is totally grid locked with traffic today because of the markets, for once I am glad to be leaving the car unused and that we could walk into town from where we are staying.

    I went for a walk and noticed a particular car in the traffic, 45 mins later saw the same car had made it only 300 yards along the road.

    Market towns are awful for traffic @66Mustang! I visited Hereford last week and we sat in traffic for about 30-40 minutes just trying to get to a car park. It was only supposed to be a 6 minute car journey from where we were staying!

    @Rosie_Scope we live in a market town down south and strangely it's fine for traffic, it seems far worse up here for some reason, I think this town was just not designed for cars, the streets are so tight!!

    My daughter took me for some shopping earlier, the shops were all packed. I can only imagine how busy the next few weeks are going to be.
