Morning, how's your day going so far?

They want everyone to use the 'pretend you work here' ones @66Mustang2
-
@Beaver79 glad you agree. I am very patient in general as I have a lot of spare time and generally don't have to be anywhere - but I don't like others deciding that my time is OK to be wasted if that makes sense - that is for me to decide.
@Teigr I think you are right, our local Tesco have just replaced half the manned tills with even more self service tills.
We try to use the manned ones because it pushes me into interacting with another person. Also we often have a lot of shopping and it wouldn't all go on a self service checkout!

I never use the self service ones @66Mustang,they should offer people a discount for scanning their own shopping.1
-
Well I went out in the end, my son took me for lunch and a bit of shopping and coffee. Posted my dna test, exciting waiting.2
-
@Sandy_123 is that the DNA test for Ancestry, to discover about your lineage and such?
I saw that and was tempted to do it myself.1 -
You should meet my neighbour @66Mustang,whenever he has workmen in he offers to labour for them in an attempt to get the job done for less.
They always say no but it hasn't put him off asking.3 -
No @66Mustang it's from 23 and me, it's a medical one and lineage and lots more
There's lots of offers on at the moment for dna2 -
@66Mustang
Oh I detest the self scan checkouts on the couple of times I have tried to use it it never works right. (Stop till an assistant comes to help)
If they just put the assistant on the manned till we would all get by better.
They are doing people out off jobs to.
Sorry rant over 😂3 -
@Teigr
My lights have only been down for one day and I’m missing them already I love the Christmas lights.
@Sandy_123
Oh that’s lovely your son took you out for lunch.
❤️1 -
My neighbour's just plain tight @66Mustang.2
-
Do u know what was funny @66Mustang, we parked in a tight spot at the post office n he indicated to pull out, but this woman then indicated to take our place, n he's like I'm not going because she's blocking me, as he needed to turn round, so, she drove next to us looking in. So he pretended he was in conversation with me waving his hands, I'm like okay. Cringe. But she pulled faward then we were able to move, then he's shouting, see now she's got to reverse. Drama2

@Sandy_123 23 and me lets you download your DNA data and there are few genealogy sites like My Heritage where you can upload the results.1
-
I'm hopping find my past does @Hannah_Scope as I'm going to subscribe there for 21 census1
-
I think Find My Past stopped their partnership with DNA, I believe they were using Living DNA. But the 1921 census is amazing. I bought the few I needed and there is so much detail!2
-
I am off to sleep now good night everyone I hope you have a restful night.
See you tomorrow.2
