Hi all Hows things with the dog @Teddybear12
Some of my ideas went out the window today ha ha
Hubby's 95yr Dad who has been in hospital since Feb as been moved to a nursing home today - really hoping this one works out. He has Dementia with challenging behaviour they tried him in one home he only lasted 8hrs before he kicked of and they couldn't cope with him so he was sent back to hospital - really hope this home works out xx0 -
Thanks @66Mustang it had better he's a nightmare ha ha xx0
-
Haha I know how awful dementia is as we have had it in the family but you have to laugh if you can I think. In our case at least I think that’s what they would want if they knew.0
-
Yep there are some good points with Dementia but it is a sad illness but hey ho can't do nothing about it just try and go with the flow - hope all's well in your part of the world @66Mustang x0
-
@Teddybear12 that’s great news!!!@SueHeath I wouldn’t go as far as to say there are good points, just there are times when I think the person would laugh at themselves if they could see their behaviour, but agree about going with the flow.0
-
@Teddybear12 glad toby gor the all clear
@SueHeath fingers crossed the home works out for him
@Sandy_123 sounds like a nice day you have had0 -
Today I went to another shop, further away than the first one, and managed to source some of the cheese I was looking for.0

Been a gorgeous afternoon evening in the bright sun. I'm in now resting my back will Put heat on it from shower later.
To top it all my granddaughter looks like she has chickenpox.
@Teddybear12 glad dogs OK now.0 -
Just broke my front tooth which is annoying
I have fillings on my 2 front teeth because I fell and smashed them several years ago, and I just broke the filling while eating a piece of bread
I am hoping they can fill it again and that I don’t need to have crowns0 -
Ouch @66Mustang hopefully they will sort it 4 u0
-
@Sandy_123 thanks yes hopefully, luckily it doesn't hurt as I had root canal on the teeth when I first broke them, it's just annoying0
-
@66Mustang I'm sure they will be able to sort it for you just hope you don't have long wait0
-
@janer1967 I'm lucky as I pay for Denplan every month so they can get me in. I know you have a wait for your teeth, once you finally get sorted I really recommend Denplan, you pay every month and if anything goes wrong you get straight in. The only catch is your teeth need to be good when you sign up, you can't sign up if you need work doing. It's about £20 a month for me.
