Thanks everyone at least some progress0

@janer1967 well done for getting an appointment. Just out of curiosity how did you word your complaint? Were you overly assertive or not? We have complained a few times and have been ignored or brushed off, but we are always very polite so I wonder if that's a mistake.0

Hi @chiarieds nice to see you back. I did worry that you'd gone off the forum for some reason but glad to read today that you just were enjoying a new garden. How is it new - have you moved house or has it just had a makeover? I haven't finished "The Housekeeper and the Professor" yet but am reading it a bit at a time and have also been reading my economics course
you've probably read 50 books since.

And thank you too @66Mustang - it's good to be back! I've had my decking replaced & a seating area made, & a new, large raised bed that's easier to access, so it feels like a totally new garden. Just had loads of plants to take out of my old raised beds then re-plant in the new one, & more.'The Housekeeper and the Professor' is a book I'm hanging onto, & I've only read about 2-3 dozen books since finishing it! How is your economics course going?0
-
@chiarieds that sounds amazing, I bet you really like it.
I'm glad you're keeping hold of the book! My course is going well, thank you, I have a teacher who doesn't give out good grades for nothing and am getting reasonable grades along with lots of tips on how to improve - I'd rather that than very good grades from a "kind" teacher!

Good Morning All It's WEDNESDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY xx0

My day started with me absolutely shattered due to being sick during the night, sadly this is part of my illness and has been since my bowel resection.
Not had a very good night tbh and when I did manage to get some sleep I was woken up with extreme tummy pains and then I was sick.
Atm I've went back to bed and took the appropriate meds: stemetil, peptac, imodium and tramadol.
Thankfully the stemetil is now kicking in. Hopefully I can get some sleep soon once the tummy pain is eases, that should be soon as I can feel it easing.
Hubby has made me up a flask of tea and left some rich-tea biscuits on my bedside table for when I'm feeling better.
Feel so sorry for hubby as he had to go to work this morning and he must also be shattered as he was up with me most of the night helping me.
