Good morning everyone.
Well done @janer19670 -
Bless you @Pam I think it is an age thing I don't bother much for my birthday last 3 years been on holiday my birthday week
I still make a fuss of my son and bf on theirs tho
We are even going to Spain for Christmas this year which will be different
Treat yourself to a nice film or your favourite TV programme
It can't be easy with your husband being a drinker when money is tight I'm not judging in anyway
Just showing concern and empathy x

Well done @janer1967 for loosing a stone, Al, the hard work payed off, gives you an incentive to carry on.
I'm just having 5 from house work.
My blender arrived still awaiting for boots1 -
@Sandy_123 the boots are raking a long time
What are you going to use tye blender for is it just to replace a old one or a new gadget for you1 -
Its a replacement yeah boots taking for ever, I don't know if its because of royal mail strikes, been no updates or anything. I might have to get ebay to look at it. Amazon good for deliveries. I think I will use them for Xmas stuff

I feel like i have been on another planet last few days, i seem to have missed out on a lot - remember about the Doc Martins @Sandy_123 ha ha x
You have done really well @janer1967 well done, now i know you said it was so you can move in and out of your chair better and for the holiday at Christmas, but don't forget if there is a ring involved and a party you got to give us notice to get our hats ha ha x
Sorry @Pam think i have missed a chat about your Birthday - when is it darling ?? x1 -
Hope everyone else is having a great Afternoon - we've not long had "lunch" together as hubby's retired now - well it was last week but decided to forget last week as it was a bit stressful with visitors/funeral etc. So this Week is the first week of our next phase of our life together, I'l let him think he's on holiday this week then start planning my list of jobs next week ha ha ha xx1

@Sandy_123 I've been getting stuff through royal mail delivered had 3 last week and only waited couple of days for them

Apart from Amazon, I find DPD are best for delivery
Mostly because they give you a 1 hour slot and you can track where the van is so no surprises (for me it helps to know exactly when they are coming rather than just waiting for a knock at the door)0 -
Oooo @SueHeath ill book the train tickets haha
@janer1967 I'm going to get in touch with ebay for a refund.
I just did a deliveroo grocery just a few bits, then noticed he gave me someone else's shopping also, i tryed waving at him but to no avail. so I told deliveroo to ring the driver to pick it up. They said he's not answering so keep it no charge. It's 15 pound worth of shopping I don't know what in there apart from lindor chocolates and milk.0 -
wow that sounds okay @Sandy_123 xx0
-
Yeah they will refund the other people like I said to them it's an easy mistake0
-
That's a good thing to try @Teddybear12 glad you enjoyed it x0
