I'll be carrying the house phone with me all day as i'm waiting for a triage appointment with the doctor, hubby still decorating the kitchen, so i will be pottering around, might see if i'm up to sorting another cupboard out x0

Morning all., everyone's busy today. I'm going to start my jobs. Got cooking planned, a Indian chicken soup for my son, full of goodness like garlic ginger, onion and spices for people who are under the weather. Might get time to fit some sketching in1

Feels like winter today, high winds and dull now going dark1

@Sandy_123 yes we just walked the dog and got blown all the way round

Good afternoon all, pouring of rain again here now, it was nice earlier this morning, at least i had chance to put the grand childrens halloween stuff away, while it was dry. Finished sorting my clothes out as well, packed my summer stuff away and refreshed my winter stuff.
mmmmm Doctors appointment - i was going to start a thread on here about it. I was taken of Duluxotine a couple of months ago, to see if the issues i was having with my health were due to the meds. I am still having bloated tummy, bad sweets, fuzzy head, severe body aches. All my bloods have come back great, blood pressure okay (could be better) but put that down to not been able to get around much or quick enough. So the locum as said nothing else they can offer me for health, she recons it's due to me being unfit because of my back problem - so looks like self help for me ha ha x0 -
It's going good. I've just finished to help cooking Chinese Chicken Stir Fry for our dinner later. 😋2
-
That sounds like a nice dinner @RetroRemix do you like cooking?
Hope you've caught up with some sleep @Ada xx1 -
I do when it's not too confusing or complex. I sometimes forget things like the pan frying when I'm doing something else. Not a good thing for a carer to be, since I'm the one who is supposed to helping out... so we end up helping eachother cooking out instead LOL0

Ada said:Sorry they’re not being very helpful @SueHeath have you tried a tens machine it works wonders on my back. Just not anywhere else. I hate to hear your sufferi
yep can't use a tens Ada it makes the nerves in my leg jump to much, i am under the hospital for my back, just waiting for pain blocker now, these other things have only been happening these last few months, i did wonder if it was my sugars but doc said kidney's etc were fine on bloods so i don't know - probably looking like Dave the pot bellied pig doesn't help ha ha xxxx0 -
Sorry to hear that the doctor didn't have anything for you @SueHeath
I know that feeling well...My worst thing for a doctor to say is "carry on as usual"!!!
When you say self help do you mean a private doctor? Or you mean exercises and things like that?0 -
-

@Ada I have restless legs as well sometimes not all the time just mainly if I'm trying to get to sleep and not nodding off
It cant be nice for you have you tried any herbal tea for relaxing you I have cup tea if I can't sleep but wondered if there was a herbal one that may help0 -
Think it tends to be called slimline tonic rather than sugar free the same with bitter lemon maybe because they are mixer drinks2
