Having cuppa in bed b4 I start my day . Family supposed to be visiting today so best do little tidy up . Will be having 2 little monsters running riot 

Toby off school still but he is starting to get better

@SueHeath toby should be at school they don't finish till wed . But he done all his mocks and was just going on trips tomorrow and wed so rather have him getting better at home

Morning everyone, good luck @durhamjaide2001 with your appointment, hope Toby has a nice chill few days @janer1967. I'm going to be making the sauce for the duck today since it's the most time consuming part, nothing else to do except tidy and make myself a decent meal for lunch.

Hey everyone, I've done more prep for the Yule meal, removed skin from muscle on the duck and stuffed it with sliced clementines, prepped the parsnips and carrots with smoked salt and garlic powder, and made the marmalade sauce. In total it's taken about 2 hours. Quite proud of myself!

No @janer1967 just popped post office with my son. I'll be posting xmas cards to neighbours today and sorting all the gifts into bags and kids stockings. I seem to have a nose bleed today.

@JoOfVengerberg sounds like it's going to be fab, I've never cooked a duck before

Had a bit of a restless night last night, so just a potter sort of day, bit of this and bit of that - all we need now is some sunshine, wonder if that's a big ask ha ha.

I cooked duck last year too but that was leg, this is a whole crown. I really really hope it goes well. @SueHeath hopefully there's some sun for you. Have a nice afternoon/evening everyone.
