Thanks @JoOfVengerberg - sorry for not replying yesterday, I went to bed nice and early ha ha.
I understand what you mean about the professorship, but imagine what an achievement that would be (as if you haven't achieved enough already!!)
Thanks @Lou67
Hi everyone!!
I have an appointment today with my psychiatrist. The first one in 6 months as they are short of doctors. I really hope it goes well and I get some sort of good treatment plan from it and it's not just "carry on as you are".2 -
Hi @66Mustang
Good morning and I want to wish you good luck for your appointment today.
Iv just finished my pip review assessment, so glad it’s over with.
Take care1 -
Morning all, good luck with appointments and shopping and feel better if you're ill! @66Mustang that's a fair point, I just know that while professors can do sabbaticals (time off to write a book for those who may not know) they do NOT get evenings and weekends haha. I think joining a research institute would be much more my speed. But then maybe I'll have a knack for teaching. Who knows?
I'm heading out today for food and a quick stop by the uni library to pick up a memory stick I forgot. Will probably treat myself to coffee. I'm quite tired and don't particularly want to leave the house (I'd rather stay in bed) but food is an absolute must today. I am looking forward to feeling a bit less food anxious (I always do when it's low and I don't have things I can just grab and eat.)0
