@Brenda1946
So glad you enjoy your knitting so much,I absolutely love knitted stuff you can’t beat it for small babies it’s just the best.
My mum used to do some beautiful knitting for all the kids, she’s going through chemotherapy just now, and sd she can’t concentrate the now. But hopefully get back to it once her chemo finish.
@AdaSorry your still in so much pain, glad you still manage to get on here even if it’s for a small amount off time.Stay strong.
Take care ❤️1 -
@Biblioklept

Iv just spoke to the doctor there and he’s going to add in a painkiller specifically for nerve pain, so hopefully that will help. ❤️1 -

Hi @Ada bf going home for now will prob come here after few days recovery. I've still got nasty cough but feel OK in myself
Sorry your hands are so painful you have enough of your own stuff going in but still think of others bless your soul
I used to knit as well but gave up due to sight loss like many other things I've had to give up bit I'm still here and just adjust to what my limitations are like we all do
@Lou67 hope the new meds work
Got a cuppa and having chill2 -
I had a delivery today, new hair (wig). Wanted to go out but had to wait in, Ive got another delivery still to come, some dummy boxes to look like ring doorbells as somebody has been trying my doors early morning and it has been worrying me as I can't defend myself.0

Good afternoon all you lovely's hope your all well.
It's lovely and busy on here today, nice to see all the chats - i can knit as long as it's a scalf
So glad b/f is on his way home @janer1967 lets hope every thing goes well this time.
Hope you achieve your plans with your baby plants @Ada and you don't suffer any more.
Sorry if i've missed anyone.
It was very cloudy here this morning but it's beautiful now, makes you feel good.
Pushed myself a little more today, eldest son come to help his Dad, so i had a little walk to his, had my shower and sat in the garden, i was so tempted to do a little pottering for him, but reminded myself i was walking home as well.
Feeling it a bit now but really happy i done it. x1 -
I haven't told the police because I don't think they mess around with such trivial things, especially with no evidence Sandy0
-
I know what you mean but it just makes them aware, incase someone gets broke into. It's not a nice feeling someone is trying doors at night. I know some people put beware of the dog signs up, when they haven't got a dog1
-
Ha ha ha - do you live far from the race course @janer1967 ? i was looking on line to try and see what the menu is like at the hotel - still can't find one, but i did tell hubby about your recommendations.
I am determined to try and get a bit fitter this year, i can't see me getting to 10,000 steps in a day, i'll be happy with 5000 at the moment, so thats my goal. x1 -
Oh yes @Sandy_123 deff puts a spring in your step, how have you been getting on with your walking ? xx1
-
I havnt been going because I've been walking around shops. So that makes up for it. I havnt today because I've been doing housework. Pluss I'm at the hospital on Wednesday so that will be a walking around town too1
-
Yep i know what you mean @Sandy_123 - it all counts towards the excercise and moving more - hope your okay means your at the hospital darling x1
-
Hope so @Teddybear12 some days feel my fit thing doesn't move tho ha ha x2
-
@SueHeath I live about 10 mile from racecourse I've never eaten at the hotel so can't comment on that.
The hotel isn't far from a entertainment park with lots of chain restaurants like tgi , frankie and bunny's, pizza express, nandos etc . Has free parking
I'm going to get back into my wheelchair exercises when I've got rid of this cough want to lose some weight for the holidays1
