It's a problem I've had for years @Sandy_123,a wisdom tooth growing sideways and putting pressure on another tooth.
My old dentist was going to try a root filling but he left the practice in 2021 and my new dentist doesn't want to touch it.

She said I'll have to go into hospital and have the wisdom tooth removed under general anaesthetic.

I'm okay with having it done @Sandy_123 but there's no way it'll be sorted anytime soon.

Our friend's wife has a tooth growing sideways and it's ruined most of her lower teeth,she waited five years for a hospital appointment and was sent away without treatment.

I could see my dentist @Lou67 but she'd just take a x-ray and tell me to come back if it gets worse.

5 years  that's crazy, considering it's the 21st century. I would get yourself on that waiting list

Oh a wee dab off whiskey on it can help ease the pain.

I think dental problems are pretty low priority @Sandy_123.

My old dentist used to give me a  tube of cream and a tiny brush( like something you'd use to apply nail varnish),I can't remember what it was called but it helped a lot with the pain.
