    Thanks @Lou67 sorry not answered you sooner, i heard a bang and my smoke alarms wouldn't stop. Checked everywhere, nothing, rang out of hours repair who said ive have to get cadent gas out to double check. So had to do that 1st. Everything was fine, nice man. 
    We had a conversation  as we are same age and born same year lol. 
    Turned out to be smoke alarm had water damage, somehow. So I'm with out fire cover for a few days.
    We did get some boards up to  check but couldn't find any leaks.

    Oh no what a carryon they alarms are so noisy to it must’ve been driving you crazy. Glad it’s stopped, and you managed to get the gas guy out to check.

    Yes he was lovely got divorced a few years ago and born same year as me, I did offer him a bounty lol. 
    All gas was ok

    Morning all I hope yous have a good day, I’ve got an appointment with the opticians this morning, hopefully be able to get my new glasses before I go my holiday, I’m also wanting a pair off sunglasses with my reading prescription,  but think could be to late to get them.

    Hi that’s a shame it’s still happening, I had suggested spraying vinegar put part vinegar part water in a spray bottle, put the most vinegar in and hopefully that helps. Not sure if you already tried it the last time I mentioned it.
