Morning my friends I hope yous are all doing well today.
It’s also dull here and rain due after.I received 2 appointments through this morning for the 5th off next month, one at 9 with my consultant, and one at 10.30 for my pre-op, regarding my second knee replacement I had the other one done a year ago.I’m anxious about it but also glad things are moving along.

We are about to set off to go for a short weekend break.
We just got a message saying sadly our booked house is unusable so we have been upgraded to a big house. Sounds good
I hope everyone is having an OK day.0 -
@66Mustang
Oh definitely typical lol
Aww great I hope yous have a fantastic weekend you can let us know how it was once your back, unless you can come on while your away.
@Teigr
Hi I hope your good.
The first one took a couple off months to stop been painful, sometimes I still feel as if my knee is giving way, if that makes sense, but it’s better than before I got it done.I’ve also got the arthritis in my feet and hands and after my first op I found out the arthritis is also in my hips 🤦♀️0 -

@66Mustang
Aww it sounds a dream so glad yous have arrived safely.
@Teigr
I was actually contemplating not having the other one done, but now I think to at least get rid off the pain hopefully will be a bonus.0 -
A family member has a bad knee due to osteoarthritis, they have had it for over 10 years but it is getting worse over time. They have been offered to be put on the waiting list for a new knee but are put off getting one for the exact reasons stated here. The doctor keeps authorising steroid injections even though they are damaging because in the exact words used... "the knee is completely f___ed already, there's no harm f___ing it up even more".0

@66Mustang enjoy your weekend away
Good luck on your appointments @Lou67 I have one on Sunday morning
Been at me freinds all day only just back, her dad has passed away now. The undertakers came and picked him up and we went to his gp to register the death. So been busy for me

Oh that’s shocking, a few years back I was at an appointment for my knees, this was after xrays showing my knees needed replaced.The stand in consultant that day gave me Cortisone injections into both knees, I found out from my original consultant a few months later I should never have been given them as whatever was in them would’ve stopped me getting my knees replaced until the injections were out off my system for at least a year.1 -
I don’t know if I’m imagining it but I feel the font size on my messages are smaller than normal, have i maybe pressed something I shouldn’t have lol0
