    It's meant to be nice this week according to the weather forecast. We have a family 60th birthday on the 7th and it's due to be 30ºC which will be nice for them.

    I am having a good day thanks, just going slow today as I have the morning to use up before I can go out.

    I hope you are OK as well today and the sun comes back out in your part of the world.

    Yes hopefully a sunshine party!! We are planning on having steaks done on the BBQ and salmon for those who don't want steak. I don't know what to choose as I love both :yum:

    Morning all, this weather is something isn't it? I'm glad the heatwaves aren't as bad as last year at least. Partner's tomatoes and aubergines should survive a touch longer with this weather though!

    How was everyone's weekend? Apart from a wonderful Friday (went to the nearby city for some payday shopping and Korean BBQ), my weekend was mostly dealing with back pain. It seems once you hit 30 sleeping funny just one night is several days worth of pain. I know many of you here are much older than 30, so I can only imagine it gets even more fun as we age.

    Afternoon all, had a busy day so far, son took me out for breakfast, which was nice then a spot of shopping. Now I'm busy packing and tidying.
    Weather is very hot, great for washing

    I have just been to Waitrose, it's a nice drive and we often go there when we only need 1 or 2 things as it's quite expensive to do a full shop there. I got some nice beer and some bread to go with the cheese I bought at the show on Saturday.

    The top half of our house gets so hot (35+C in high 20s) that we got a portable aircon unit for the bedroom just so we can sleep at night.

    We may have to break that back out after I put it away....
