Hi all. Sounds like everyone is feeling the chill in the air. I’ve put the heating on for an hour. Not keeping it on but it should take the chill off. Hope everyone has had a lovely day. I’ve been home all day, paradise!.

Hi everyone1
-
@Sandy_123 was lovely and toasty for an hour or more. I really feel the cold like most of us do.@66Mustang good morning xxx0

Dogs love their weekend bones. They get a lot of treats but these are the favourite1
-
Sorry I thought I’d added a photo of them and their mess . Just didn’t load for some reason0
-
That's a shame @punchnJudy64 what dog do you have?0
-
@66Mustang I have two Romanian rescues. Both were traumatised, one still has ptsd. A smaller girl around spaniel size and a bigger girl around mountain dog size x0

@punchnJudy64 cool picture, they look like really nice dogs0
-
@66Mustang they are. Big one, Wilma still barks at people occasionally but I’ll get there. When you’ve been beaten like she was there are bound to be mental scars. They mean so much to me x0
-
@punchnJudy64 yes only natural she would be scared of people if she was treated like that, I think you did a good thing adopting them, it must feel really rewarding. We got our dog from a breeder because it's our first dog so we were not too confident training, a Border Collie1
-
I used to have a collie, a rescue. She hated men but after a yr or so she was perfect. I’ve had rescues 41 yrs now. Never had the same breed twice lol. They have all been rewarding but Wilma is my hardest by far. U can easily train out aggression but fear like hers is so hard. Little one was hung for having pups in a farmers barn x0
-
@punchnJudy64 some farmers can be cruel I think, not all but I know of a sheep farmer who had collies for rounding up the sheep, one day a dog bit a sheep which is a big no-no so he shot the dog. To him the dog was just a tool and it was not doing its job so it had to go. Very saddening, he could have maybe given the dog away at least0
-
Hers was in Romania but Ofcourse farmers can be cruel, I agree. Animals are to make money. Cattle markets are awful but I’m veggie. Cruelty upsets me so much. Love collies. I bet urs has a lovely personality xx1
-
@punchnJudy64 he has a great personality, really fun dog, he is a little naughty but in a loveable way, not malicious. The only one thing is he likes to play the alpha male when he meets another male dog, he is friendly with female dogs though, he hasn't been "done" which is maybe why he does that1

Morning all.
Dry and sunny here,we're off for a walk in the woods.1
