I'm moving soon so I need to eat my freezer empty over the next two weeks. This evening I found a pizza shaped garlic bread so I added plenty of chopped chilli and tomato paste topped with chilli pepperami, mushrooms and two types of cheese. Now I'm stuffed and can't move which is bad because I'm supposed to be packing. At least it gives me a chance to catch up with people here :-)0

@janer1967 chicken and lentil curry taste awesome too I have not made that in few months1
-
@janer1967 yiu cant go wrong with red lentils i do soak them an hour before cooking.0

I used the green lentils this time, plus added loads of beans. I don't use a lot of beef, that's more for the beefy flavour. Jack fruit can also be used in place of meat, and Indian friends of mine use green bananas. I've never tried cooking with bananas but have eaten it and it's delicious :-)
Speaking of bananas, next time you have a BBQ, slice some bananas into a bowl, add mayonnaise and some curry powder and put it out as a side dish. It always goes down well. I call it curried bananas.
I'm on a quest for a good home made sweet and sour sauce, anyone here tried making it successfully?0 -
I dont like bananas cooked at all never have done
I'm not one for mixing sweet and savoury prefer them kept separate
Not made sweet and sour sauce sorry cant help you there . See if Gok has recipe on line0
