I'm moving soon so I need to eat my freezer empty over the next two weeks. This evening I found a pizza shaped garlic bread so I added plenty of chopped chilli and tomato paste topped with chilli pepperami, mushrooms and two types of cheese. Now I'm stuffed and can't move which is bad because I'm supposed to be packing. At least it gives me a chance to catch up with people here :-)

@lisathomas50  Trecwn in Pembrokeshire. It's not far from where I am now but even more rural and nice and quiet. Plenty of animals and not too many humans ;-)

Probably home made beef and lentil curry tonight. I made a batch a couple of days ago that I divided into eight meals and put in the freezer.

@berry123 I'm not a lover of ketchup but my son has it on everything . Fish fingers I'd a good choice

@cartha I've never cooked with lentils maybe something I should try

I used the green lentils this time, plus added loads of beans. I don't use a lot of beef, that's more for the beefy flavour. Jack fruit can also be used in place of meat, and Indian friends of mine use green bananas. I've never tried cooking with bananas but have eaten it and it's delicious :-)

Speaking of bananas, next time you have a BBQ, slice some bananas into a bowl, add mayonnaise and some curry powder and put it out as a side dish. It always goes down well. I call it curried bananas.

I'm on a quest for a good home made sweet and sour sauce, anyone here tried making it successfully?
