How do you eat your chocolate digestives?

I'm back with another very important question for you all today.

My dad contacted me recently to let me know about a debate that's (apparently) happening around the correct way to eat a chocolate digestive biscuit.

There's only one correct way to eat one to me, so I'd be interested to know your thoughts. Vote in the poll below!

On earth, chocolate facing up, in space there is no up so a bit more tricky but generally I’d advise to have the chocolate facing your eyes for maximum enjoyment. ?

    The only way is up!
More importantly, to dunk or not to dunk?
I cant bare even seeing other people dunk....let alone having a dunk myself....

Very controversial @Cress! I like a cheeky dunk from time to time.

I don't like any chocolate covered biscuit...there's no way to eat them without messy fingers!

The chocolate side should obviously be down for the eating experience...that's where your tongue is with all the taste buds!  But to reduce messy fingers I'd eat them choc side up.  ;)

My dad made a good point about the eating experience @OverlyAnxious: although he eats it chocolate side up, he immediately flips it once it's in his mouth so that it's chocolate side down. I think I do the same.

I’m not a huge fan of soggy biscuits either however I recently learned to like to dunk those Lotus biscuits that they often give you when you order a cup of tea

(does anyone remember that, getting a cup of tea in a cafe :D)

got to be the right way up, my better half bought some lovely stem ginger chocolate biscuits lush looking thick chocolate I thought two would be nice till I took a bite and the ginger was so strong I hide the second biscuit till another cuppa, one a day is plenty.

I always have the chocolate facing upwards, but I went on Google and mcvitties said the chocolate is the bottom side, as that's how it's made in the factory, with the name imprinted on the top.
But, each to their own, it's all going same way lol.
