Painful ‘knot’ in weaker leg

Hello!
I’m just wondering if anyone has either had a similar experience to this or any remedies...
I have CP which affects my left side predominantly. Every few weeks I get a ‘knot’ in my weaker leg’s calf that makes it painful to walk and it feels like my muscles are really clenched.

Has anyone else with CP experienced this? Or does anyone have any remedies?

I have ongoing issues with my knees. I elevate my legs and use ice packs to manage any swelling. What kind of footwear do you have and do you wear AFOs?0
