Hello I’ve just joined this community and I’m hoping to discuss ageing and Cerebral Palsy. As an adult I feel support and information for people with Cerebral Palsy as they get older is lacking. I’ve noticed a lot of changes such as more memory loss, increased pain, being unable to do tasks as well as I’ve got older. Anyone have information, tips for ageing with Cerebral palsy? Thank you

Could someone please confirm that it is not possible to develop CP later in life as an adult?

I am now aged 70 have right side hemiparalysis and Epilepsy. Last year found out I have severe osteoporosis.several spinal fractures. For years I was told just trapped nerve. Feel very angry at the lack of understanding and knowledge of G.P. I always get told problems I have are due to old age my cerebral palsy is never mentioned. As for mentioning post impairment syndrome I think my GP would think I had lost the plot 😆Not funny but so frustrating.
