Hi, I'm ricky48! I've been waiting 18 weeks for a PIP claim decision.

hi all iv been waiting for a dession on a pip claim and have been watting 18 weeks and when i called them theyv told me to ring the independent doctors

18 weeks seems a long time 4 a decision,but yes ring the independant doctors and they might be able to give u a bit more infomation.

@ ricky48, Hello and welcome, If you have applied for PIP then your application assessment is waiting at the assessment company ready to be processed. If you have had your claim assessment then phone the DWP and request a copy of your assessment report and on receiving it you can work out what your award may should be but you still have to wait for the award notification letter.
