Prescription Charges

Good morning everyone.
Our joint UC claim has now ceased due to my partners earnings.
Our joint UC claim has now ceased due to my partners earnings.
I was claiming free prescriptions as advised.
I continue to receive Contribution Based ESA and I’m in the Support Group.
I have been awarded PIP enhanced rate for daily living.
As UC has now ceased, do I now need to pay for my prescription charges?

The more I look into it, the more confused I am!
Thank you ?

You will because your ESA does not give you entitlement to free prescriptions, unless you have a specified medical condition that entitles you.
You might benefit from the NHS Low Ncome Scheme but that will depend on circumstances

Look into prescription prepayment certificates. They could safe you money. https://www.gov.uk/get-a-ppc
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
The pre-payment can be paid monthly it's £10.69 per month, so if you have more than 1 item per month it saves you money.Be extra nice to new members.

Thank you, that makes sense.
I will look into payment certificates. -
Hi there
As above some medical conditions make you entitled to a medical exemption certificate and all prescriptions are free
I don't know if you would qualify but maybe worth looking at
