My daughter-in-law gets tested for Covid-19 every week due to her work. She just got notified this morning that yesterday's test came back positive. My son obviously has to isolate, & so do I as they are in my support bubble. We'll all be pottering a lot in our respective gardens if this nice weather holds (& we don't get any symptoms!)

Have any if you had the vaccine ?
Enjoy the sun if it stays around take care

Thank you. I had my first vaccine 12 days ago. Our main concern is my daughter-in-law who's troubled with asthma, & I need to find out how to get my repeat prescription, which my son was due to collect Thurs/Fri.

@chiarieds fingers crossed you are all ok, and that this lovely weather holds.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

@chiarieds it's great to see you back on the forum I'm sorry to hear about your daughter in law's diagnosis. My niece is a teacher and has to test herself twice a week, it really made me think about the cost of all this. Quite scary really. I hope you all get through the isolation period okay. Let's hope the weather stays nice and you are about to spend some time in the garden.

Thank you @woodbine @Ross_Scope & @Cressida . Yes, hoping for sunshine rather than symptoms for the rest of this month. I'll have to see if there's anything else that needs sowing....my tomato seeds have been done, & are in the greenhouse. A volunteer will collect & deliver my prescription, so that's good. The only one going anywhere is my cat Shadow.

Hope your daughter inlaw doesn't have severe symptoms and gets well soon and hope that you and your son don't get symptoms ?
-
I hope it passes soon for you all, take care, glad the weather is still ok
-
Thank you both @lisathomas50 - & @Grinchy I'm sneezing my head off due to my usual allergies, so hope that's all I get. Hope we're all OK, & everyone on the community stays safe too.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully will come and go quickly and that there is nice weather so you can enjoy the garden. I agree it’s nice to see you back on the forum.
Just to let you know I finally found it on offer and tried Pernod.......not a fan sadly I’d drop the bottle off to help your self isolation period go by faster if I could!!! -
Thank you @66Mustang Oh, I'm sorry about the Pernod, I was so hoping you'd like it. You can send me the bottle 'virtually.'

@chiarieds snap just had text my son got to isolate as his school mate tested positive so now more time off school till after Easter break
He only been back 2 weeks
He just done a negative test so fingers crossed stays that way -
@janer1967 hope your son stays negative a few schools in wales have shut early becsuse of positive tests in school
-
Hope your son is OK @janer1967 - will he have to do any further Covid-19 tests, & will you have to be tested? My son later said his wife had a slight cough on Sunday, but she feels perfectly well so far. He has always worried as he works in a small, but busy food retailer, seeing a lot of customers. As he says, she could easily have got it from him. We're all staying positive (& phoning each other a lot!)

@chiarieds my son has to test twice a week he has supply of home test kits
I don't have to test unless either of us get symptoms
Just a bit nightmare as I cant go out without him for shopping or anything so will have to do online
Of course the home schooling yet again -
Hope both of your familys come through everything thats happening
-
Sending my love to you both @chiarieds and @janer1967, hope all is okDisability Gamechanger - 2019

Thank you @leeCal - it brings (rather too close to home) how serious this virus can be, & how it can spread. I'm hoping that @janer1967 & son are definitely OK too.
