Got my keys Monday and my removal company is booked for tomorrow. Ready to move.

    Thanks, first night was weird and didn’t sleep well but I’m the type of person that finds new places unsettling. 

    I hate the fact I need to decorate and carpet the whole place though and because it was a forced move I need to rely on the compensation payment. 

    Trying to actually speak to someone that deals with it to see when it will be processed is proving difficult.

    First night in your new home! That's brilliant :)

    I'm exactly the same as you. I'm not very good with change. Hopefully, you will settle in quite quickly now that the move is over and done with - and it's just the right time of year for it as well. Going into spring and then summer in your new home!

    Good luck with your jobs for today. Hope that you get things sorted fairly easily :)
