Hello everyone!

I'm posting on behalf of our research team in Oxford. We are currently running a research study in Oxford for children aged 10-16 years old with cerebral palsy.

The aim of the study is to determine if the combination of a non-invasive brain stimulation technique (called tDCS) and physical therapy can assist children with CP to improve their motor function. The study involves 10 days of physiotherapy and a few assessment visits, with an optional MRI scan. All the information for the study is in the attached pdf document.
We know that the lockdown has been really tough for kids and families and we hope that our study, and the physiotherapy, can be of benefit to those who take part. Currently, we are based at a unit in Oxford, but hope to expand to London and Birmingham in the coming months.

If you are a parent to a child with cerebral palsy who is aged 10-16, and are interested in being involved in the study, please have a look at the attached document and get in touch with us at stimcp@brookes.ac.uk so we can discuss further and answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Warm regards,
Bronwyn
