Hi everybody,
I hope everyone is keeping safe and well.
I understand there are a couple of Mac users in this forum and I have a question with reference to both, the big Sur latest update 11.3.1 and Sophos antivirus. I was wondering if anyone could help me please?
When I click on The S logo at the top of my screen, it says: action required Sophos Anti Virus requires a configuration update on this Mac. Has anybody else had this as well? I have typing a look at the how-to videos and they look confusing. I was wondering if somebody could perhaps help me please.
thanks in advance,
CSno01

Sorry I don’t know the answer either, I don’t use any antivirus
@woodbine is right, Macs are almost immune to viruses unless you basically download one on purpose
I have been using Macs for 11 years without any antivirus software and am yet to get a virus
Not trying to discourage you from using the software though as better to be safe than not!1 -

I just find this link on the Sophos website and take step by step shows photos how each step.
Give this a go and let me know any more help with this issue you having @csno01
But I do agree with it @ woodbine and @66Mustang that macs are immune from the virus but I also not discourage anti-virus software1 -
