    Hi @Pearl04 and welcome,
I'm sorry to read about your diagnosis and hope you are getting the support you need for that. If you go over on Google to www.gov.co.uk it should have information about that on there for lcwac

You need to report a change in your health on your UC journal. You should tell them your diagnosis and if you are expecting to have chemotherapy you should tell them that too. If you haven't got one already you will need to provide a Fit Note within 7 days - go back into the health section to report the details.

If you are expecting chemotherapy then the UC50 health form should be issued immediately and when you complete the form, if cancer is your only health condition, you can skip most of the questions but need to get the Cancer Treatment page completed by a clinician. You should then be treated as having LCWRA without further assessment but you will still only be paid the LCWRA element from the fourth complete assessment period after you report the health condition.

Note that when the LCWRA element goes into payment you will no longer be paid the carer element.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
