Does backdated PIP payment count as savings if I apply for Housing Benefit?

Hello everyone,
If someone have received £5,000 backdate payment from PIP does it counts as saving if applying for Housing benefit ?

Unless you are of State Pension age or living in temporary or supported accommodation you cannot apply for Housing Benefit. You would need to apply for Universal Credit in order to get help with rent.
Arrears of PIP will be ignored as capital for 12 months. If total capital is less than £6000 it is ignored anyway.1 -
