He should get backdating as you say. What date does the note on his journal say he is being treated as having LCWRA from?
As regards timing of the arrears payment that varies. It shouldn’t take long. If you want to chase it you will have to put a note in his journal or ring the helpline.0 -
There isn’t a date will he get a separate journal note of when and how much and if he getting a backdate it just says in next 7 days I did tell him that but gets very stressed about it does the backdate come as a separate payment not on he’s normal payment date the not being able to work element been added to he’s next payment but not anything about backdate but he only got letter on journal yesterday he keeps asking me and I have no idea0

I’ve put a note in he’s journal they put up he’s letter very quick from he’s assessment so I assume some time this week he might hear about backdate0

The arrears will be a separate payment. They have to go back through the whole claim, work out what he was entitled to, compare it with what he was paid and then calculate the difference.0

Hi there
He should get back pay from when he first reported condition and was backed up by fit note . After this there is the 3 full assessment periods which are waiting months eo payment should be backdated to 4th month he needs to have sent continuous fit notes
The backpay can take a while as they need t calculate it and get it authorised keep checking statements and when old statements change to include the extra they will have recalculated and then should get back pay once it gas been authorised
Mine took 6 weeks0 -
Yh I said that to him I think it would take a while cause I think it will be quite a big backdate0

Just to let you know, I merged your two threads together so that all of the comments would be in one place as both of your posts asked the same question.0 -
Did everyone recieve there right amongst back in backdate ? How long does it take to process ? Do you get message in journal first or payment in bank first ?0

Hi
I think I answered one if your other posts
Try not to worry and stress about it these things take time as they need to look at all your claim to calculate
When your old payments change in your statements they have done the calculation and pay will come after it has been authorised
You should get note in your journal, I waited 6 weeks for mine and rang them at 6 week stage
