Hi Tori, yes I am! Monday is my afternoon out with my carer. We have been eating our lunch in the car, but tomorrow we'll be able to go inside a café and eat. Yay!!!
-
YesHave fun and stay safe @pollyanna1052
-
I'll be going to Tesco tomorrow... Hopefully everyone else will be out hugging people or eating indoors so it'll be nice and quiet.
-
-
I will be still keeping myself safe no hugging or kissing still eating outside they put in the papper and on the news that they are worried about the Indian variant but still go ahead lol
-
@pollyanna1052 Yes! I've seen lots of people 'doing lunch' in their cars in recent weeks. It's become a bit of a thing in some places, I think. And quite typically British.
Good thinking @OverlyAnxious! Yes, it's been a bit strange how some places still seem eerily quiet, whilst everybody descends on the same spot elsewhere.
@lisathomas50 I think you're right there. For various reasons, many of us will still be very cautious for the time being.
We shall have to wait and see how things work out. But enjoy, whatever it is that you'll be doing tomorrow.

NoNothing planned for tomorrow but we are going to see our daughter and grandson on the 28th, and granddaughter will be staying for a few days early June.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

NoI'm usually up to date with the latest guidelines but i must have missed every announcement going for the 17th. I know it's my mum's birthday so I was confused as to why everybody kept mentioning the 17th on social media. I was convinced everybody knew it was her birthday @Tori_Scope i need that picture haha!Disability Gamechanger - 2019

I enjoyed a lovely afternoon out with my carer. We went to Bingley (West Yorkshire) and enjoyed lunch in Lavinias café. It felt so normal to be eating indoors again.
-
Still level 3 in Glasgow so nothing changed
-
YesEnjoy @woodbine! It'll be nice to see them.
I'm glad you had a lovely time @pollyanna1052 I hope you managed to avoid some of the rain. -
YesI saw that one the news @cazza6565, but I don't know a great deal about the lockdown situation in Scotland. Has a date been proposed for when restrictions might ease a little, or are they playing it by ear for now? Are you coping okay?
-
@Tori_Scope well the Rangers fans at weekend didnt help must have been around 1500 of them gathered at George Square which is in the city centre leading to 5 police injured and 28 arrests. So i see level 3 remaining for now. Everyone in certain postcodes (mine included) have to be tested even if you have no symptoms as there is a big spike in cases.
As for me i broke my arm couple of weeks ago so no plans to go anywhere -
YesGlad to sit in a couple of places for pitstop and comfort break.
-
YesI'm sorry to hear about your arm @cazza6565 Wishing you the best for your recovery. Stick in there!

NoI think so, she's never been fussed about her birthday so it's always difficult to find out what she would like. I did get her a Ronan Keating t-shirt, which she loves, thanks for asking @Ross_ScopeDisability Gamechanger - 2019
