Participants needed: Sensory processing and academic achievement in autistic university students

I am currently conducting a study looking at the relationship between sensory processing and university academic achievement of autistic individuals. I am an autistic student at Anglia Ruskin University and this study is part of my PhD.
The study consists of 3 online sections in total lasting approximately 30 minutes:
• A questionnaire about your general sensory processing in everyday life (to last about 10 minutes)
• A series of questionnaires asking you about your previous education, university education, autistic traits and, if you feel you have sensory processing differences, how you have coped with these at university (to last about 15 minutes)
• A reading task on a video call to the researcher (to last about 5 minutes). Please note, this aspect can be adjusted if you’re uncomfortable with it, please ask the researcher about this.
You will receive a £6 Amazon Voucher for completing this study.
You are eligible to take part if:
• You have a formal diagnosis of being on the autistic spectrum and no other neurodevelopmental diagnosis.
• You have completed at least one undergraduate year during 2018/19 or 2019/20.
• You have access to your Level 3 academic results (e.g. A Levels, BTEC etc.), you usually have taken these when you were 18.
• You have no physical sensory impairment (if you wear glasses that correct your vision, you can still take part).
Please contact me, Fiona Howe, on fiona.howe@pgr.aru.ac.uk if you have any questions about this research or would like to take part in this study.
The study has received ethics approval by the School of Psychology and Sports Science Research Ethics Panel (SREP) and ratified by the Faculty Research Ethics Panel under the terms of Anglia Ruskin University’s Policy and Code of Practice for the Conduct of Research with Human Participants.
Thank you!
