Hi everyone,
I recently won my tribunal to get awarded LCWRA from 28.1.20. In my decision letter from the appeals service they said I must be awarded LCWRA from and including this date.

Citizen advice told me that I would backdated from this date and that the 13 week assessment period wouldn’t apply as the tribunal ruled it should start from that date.
Have I been given the wrong advice from citizen advice ? Below I have attached the response from UC after I asked about this.
UC sent me a message after they did not backdate me from this date and I asked why not-
Hi Ryan, when awarded LCWRA there is a 13 week waiting period until you receive your first LCWRA payment. Therefore your decision has been added from 28/1/20 however you would not receive the payment until the Assessment period starting on 12/5/20. Now
