@Sue20031971 hi and welcome to scope, do you mean does anyone currently work as an assessor for PIP/ESA? I'm not sure anyone would admit to being one, have you had problems with an assessment?2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

Hi @Sue20031971 - & welcome to the community. People here are certainly willing to share their experiences (personal or general) about benefits such as PIP or ESA. Is there anything we can help you with?

Welcome to the community @Sue20031971 Thanks for joining.
I just wanted to echo what the others have said, and ask whether you had a question about the PIP or ESA process? Have you applied for either of these benefits?
I've moved your post into our PIP category for the time being, and tweaked the title a bit. -
I had a lovely assessor when I had the interview for pip and ESA. She couldn't have been nicer. I had all my medical reports and someone went with me.
BUT a friend had a totally different experience. She has very bad epilepsy and mental illness and her interview was distressing, hostile. She complained and had to go to court. So I think it depends on the assessor.
