How will I know if I receive extra money for LCWRA? When is the 3 month period dated from?

Hello!
I am on universal credit and recently got the assessment back for Limited Capability for work and work related activities...however, I’ve found the letter rather unclear in the terms it uses.
It states that ‘you may get extra money if so this will be a 3 month waiting period from when you gave us evidence’
How will I know if I receive money? Or if this is an assured thing as I have been declared LCWRA? (I did ask on my journal a while ago but I’ve received no response)
Also this 3 month period, is it dated from your fit note or the day you submitted your fit note to your journal? My fit note was dated 1st March 2021 but not added until the 9th March 2021. My assessment period is from the 2nd - 1st of every month with my payments being on the 8th of every month.

I am just confused on whether I am entitled to extra money or not because I haven’t received any answers. Sorry for the rambling!

If you reported your health condition on 9th March 2021 then the three relevant periods will be 2nd April to 1st May, 2nd May to 1st June, 2nd June to 1st July. The LCWRA money will be payable for 2nd July to 1st August which is paid on 8th August.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
